Raiders New Head Coach Denis Allen
The Oakland Raiders Reportedly Ready To Hire Dennis Allen As New Head Coach:
The Oakland Raiders are apparently zeroing in on a favorite candidate to become their head coach, replacing Hue Jackson who was in Oakland for one season with an 8-8record. The finalist in question is Dennis Allen, defensive coordinator of the Denver Broncos this past season. Allen was already rumored to get a second interview today and apparently that's good enough for Reggie McKenzie, the team's new general manager who came over from the Green Bay Packers. Allen has been a defensive assistant in the league since '02 with the Atlanta Falcons and then the New Orleans Saints. However, it's a quick ascension for a coach who was just in his first year as a coordinator in 2011 and speaks volumes about how well the interview process must have went with McKenzie. No official word has yet been given.

SOPA and PIPA would put the burden on website owners to police user-contributed material and call for the unnecessary blocking of entire sites. Small sites won't have sufficient resources to defend themselves. Big media companies may seek to cut off funding sources for their foreign competitors, even if copyright isn't being infringed. Foreign sites will be blacklisted, which means they won't show up in major search engines. SOPA and PIPA would build a framework for future restrictions and suppression.
In a world in which politicians regulate the Internet based on the influence of big money, Wikipedia — and sites like it — cannot survive.
Congress says it's trying to protect the rights of copyright owners, but the "cure" that SOPA and PIPA represent is worse than the disease. SOPA and PIPA are not the answer: they would fatally damage the free and open Internet.

Millions of Americans oppose SOPA and PIPA because these bills would censor the Internet and slow economic growth in the U.S.
Two bills before Congress, known as the Protect IP Act (PIPA) in the Senate and the Stop Online Piracy Act (SOPA) in the House, would censor the Web and impose harmful regulations on American business. Millions of Internet users and entrepreneurs already oppose SOPA and PIPA.

The Rebuilding of the Oakland Raiders
It's been ten long years of the raiders trying to rebuild there team and move to the next step in NFL that is becoming the AFC champs. This seems to be in the future for next year, now that the entire team will be rebuilt from the ground up and that will take the entire offseason to do it. It might be a good thing that we didn't make the playoffs this year because next year The Oakland Raiders might be going to the super bowl.

Former Oakland Raiders coach Hue Jackson said Wednesday in an ESPN Radio interview that he regrets ripping his team in a Week 17 postgame news conference, and believes he might have remained as coach if the late Al Davis still owned the team.
Jackson, who was fired Tuesday after just one season, said in an interview with ESPN Radio's "Hill & Schlereth" that he should have taken a shower and given himself time to cool off before addressing the media Jan. 1 after the Raiders lost to the San Diego Chargers.
Instead, he held his news conference shortly after blasting his team in the locker room, as the Raiders marked their ninth straight season without a winning record or a playoff berth. Jackson made headlines for saying he was "pissed" at his players and chastising them publicly after they missed an opportunity to make the playoffs.

The Fact that Hue Jackson was fired was great for The Raiders, the off season will be full of work and business the Raiders do have a super bowl team they just need a leader to put all the pieces in place.
